Pastor Denise Gwin

Pastor Denise Gwin was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. When she was still an infant her parents moved to Mount Holly, North Carolina, were she was raised and attained the Gaston County Public Schools. She graduated from East Gaston Senior High School and some years later move back to Charlotte.

She attended Central Piedmont Community College were she received her certification in Early Childhood. She is employed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School and has been with the school system for the past ten years.

She is married to Dr. Walter C. Gwin Sr., who is the Senior Pastor of the Spirit of the Word Church, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and she is a mother.

In her early years of life she felt the hand of God upon her, raised in a church and serving on many different ministries, she did not yield unto the Lord until 1989, she is thankful to God for her salvation and vows that, whatever God says do she is willing to do.

The Lord has allowed her to serve faithfully beside her husband. They both believe that, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God." She is the founder of "The Women of the Kingdom Ministries," she instructor of the Women Ministry and she also teach the Women's Sunday School Class.

Besides all of that, she believes that God has called her for such a time as this. She knows that God has reached through the pits of hell and pulled her out to reach a dying world. She knows that in these last days, God needs people that will not sell out, but will tell everybody, everywhere that His Son, Jesus died to save their soul and His way is the only way.
